We are proud to announce that we have changed our name!
As of Thursday, November 13, 2015, The IT Transformation Institute has become The Institute for Digital Transformation.
Over the course of the last 18 months, we began to realize the forces demanding that IT organizations transform themselves, were beginning to have a similar – and potentially more dramatic – impact on the broader institutions of our society. The forces that were identified in our founder’s book, The Quantum Age of IT, are now driving sweeping transformations within all aspects of our industrial era government, higher education and corporate institutions:
- The Consumerization of IT – in which everyone expects their technology to be seamless and ubiquitous
- The Criticality of IT – in which technology now powers every business process and every customer interaction
- The Competition for IT – in which technology solutions are now acquirable simply, readily and affordably
As a result, the fundamental underpinning of how everything works is changing, leading to new business models, new operating paradigms and new demands on business and IT leadership alike.
We came to realize that our fundamental mission, to develop the leaders of the digital era, was now just as applicable to the broad business audience as it has been to the IT leaders and managers that we’ve been serving for the last several years.
So while our mission has not changed, our audience has grown larger as everyone is now facing the challenges of competing and thriving in this new era.
Thanks for joining us on this journey. We look forward to continuing to help you Thrive in the Digital Era!
